Whether or not you have managed to snag tickets to one of the shows during Mercedes Benz Fashion Week there is plenty to keep you busy in the City during the festive and fabulous week! However, before hitting the City’s shows, exhibitions and parties let Triumph Hotels pamper you. We have joined forces with PRIV to offer complimentary beauty services at our popups. Check out the schedule here to receive a complimentary manicure, a makeup touch-up, a dry styling hair service, or a mini massage.
If you don’t have tickets to the Lincoln Center events don’t fret, a second Fashion Week is taking place: check out New York’s more cutting edge designers by attending a MADE Fashion Week show. Exhibitions are on full fashion-force during this time. Some of our favorites to check out are:
- Killer Heels: The Art of the High Heeled Shoe at the Brooklyn Museum looks at the history of this fashion staple. From stilettos to wedges and platform the historical and contemporary heels show the shift in style as well as symbolism.
- The MoMA’s This is for Everyone: Design Experiments for the Common Good will open on February 14th and will explore “universal” designs and questions the flipside of the common good design experiments.
- The Jewish Museum to explore Helena Rubinstein: Beauty is Power that explores how the legendary cosmetic’s entrepreneur broke down boundaries in art and design to redefine beauty.
- The Museum at FIT is also not to be missed by fashion enthusiasts. Their Yves Saint Lauren + Halston: Fashioning the 70s exhibition explores the designers who crafted the definition of a sexy and modern lifestyle of the dynamic era.
After a busy and exciting day sit and relax with a prix fixe meal at one of the participating restaurants of NYC’s Restaurant Week.
